LOL, no it looks clean. I am just not understanding whats wrong with the engine cover? I think it looks nice and helps protect the engine. It's not like the upper plenum looks nice compared to a Ford 5.0 or Chevy 350 TPI
I just don't like engine covers, I think manufacturers should make cars with nice looking engines, not nice looking covers. I'm looking into getting the SRT8 intake manifold and some chrome fuel rails, etc. It will look better, it's just going to cost money.Originally Posted by sloloco

The 6.1 intake is a sweet idea, but it looks like yet another case of wishful thinking - there's a bunch of folks here that tossed that one around. Supposedly it'll bolt up, but there's no EGR... :xOriginally Posted by Go ManGo Daytona

On 300Cforums, somewhere I saw pics of a polished chrome hand welded plenum to replace the plastic unit.

Installing an EGR wouldn't be that big a deal. There's no wishful thinking here, Just trying to make the engine look better and gain some performance at the same time. I'll have to look that thread up, that you mentioned. Thanks,Originally Posted by bipto
