I don't see the BFD: Charger should be called '67 Camaro II

Is it just me or does the Charger look like a '67 Camaro revamped with modern styling?? esp. the front-end nose.. back-end.. basically everything but the interior..

Yep.. and maybe not even necessarily a '67 but there's one model year I can't put my finger on with a link to a pic yet I've seen it before over the years on the street and you'd think it was the inspiration for the charger... In any case I wasn't trying to pi$$ on the party as I know there are a lot of enthusiastic soon to be charger owners.. but my first impression of the new Charger pics was "ho-hum" and "new-age Camaro" .. If the design had blown me away then I guess I wouldn't already be a 300C owner and soon to be trading up to an SRT-8 300C ..

ya know, I remember sometimes when my sister was in beauty school, she'd bust out with a god awful hairdoo every now and again. I felt like I had to like how it looks just because of the layalty ya know?
    I think this conversation applies.

    Of course there are similiarities!!
Look at the cars of that time! They ALL looked a lot alike! That was the flavor of the ponycar! This car's influence comes FROM that time period. To say this thing looks like a Camaro is like saying Jennifer Garner is just a revamped Mary-Ann FROM Gilligans Island!!! The comparisons in both counts are fallacious!

It looks a chevelle kinda as well, notice how the side windows come to a point in the back.

Bottom line, ever car is going to look like another car in some way shape or form.

Even the magnum (truck-like front end)

That comparison is fine by me.
    I own a 67 Camaro and now a Magnum
    The best of both worlds.

I like to SIP homemade corn. I have a little left over that an uncle made for me. Made FROM ripe Silver Queen sweet corn. Ran through 4 times and filtered through peachwood charcoal every time. Gets ALL of he fusil oils out, which means NO HANGOVERS! It is about 15 years old. And when any of y'all come down here, I will break out some. When made and aged properly, it is quite good. Just go easy and slow or it will make a fool of ya! No problems K-Lake! I will be happy to bend anelbow with you!
Hey Missing... that is a Canadian version of the Chevelle called the Beaumont. I believe

YOU WERENT HERE LONG ENOUGH! You need a nice long day of nothing to enjoy it and you were an out of towner in Madison.
Remember Madison? Remember both me and the waiter telling you that the city was a bunch o' bungholes just looking for your type with a hint of 'al-key-haul' on your breath?
    That's why!

I was a-watchin out for you!
