    Helpppp My Charger Is Dieinggg!:(

i was changing my spark plugs and before i was driving it it wasn't bad
but when i took off my intake manifold there OIL inside my intake manifold
did i blow a gasket or something? holes in my cyder head maybe? theres black smoke coming out my exhaust so i was DEFENITLY burning oil
so ones i changed my spark plugs i turned the car back on and all it did was start miss firing and electrical signs kept coming on and i was wondering whats going on? did i not part the spark plugs the right space or not do up one of the spark plug wires im just sooo confused and don't know if this is all related to my leaking engine to my intake manifold any input in whats wrong??

Was the car smokin' before? What lead you to take the intake off? Were the plug wires put back on right?

What engine? If it's a V8, oil in the manifold is common, buy a catch can from Billet Technology, it'll stop. Shouldn't lead to misfiring though. Make sure all your coils are firmly seated on the plugs (or wires, if it's a V6 or an older 5.7L)... Did you use that dielectric grease stuff on the new plugs?

since you had to remove the intake plenum to replace the spark plugs, i'll assume you have a V6. my guess is that you now have a vacuum leak where the EGR tube connects to the intake plenum. the EGR tube-to-plenum seal is most likely cut or out of position (kinda tricky to put back together).

#1 in this diagram is the EGR tube. at the manifold plenum end there is a blue silicone rubber seal and at the valve end there is a gasket.
