    Unhappy Headlight moisture

    All LX lovers,
Spring in finally here so I washed my Daytona throughly yesterday. Today I noticed the one headlight lense is completely covered with moisture. This never has happened before. I looked for a small chip or crack but couldn't find one. Anyone else having this problem? Doug

Almost the same sh%t happened to me this weekend. Nice Spring weather in NY...give the car a good wash. I just noticed that my side moldings are all pitted. I tried a claybar, wax...nothing took it off. Went to the dealer this morning and chrysler has to approve the body work. They will tho only 11000 on my daytona......had to vent a little....my head lights are ok...watertight....how are your side moldings holding up? ...the dealer should have no issue replacing that lamp for you. good luck

I had both my headlights on my GoManGo replaced last fall with no problems whatsoever. It does happen with the Chargers, just show it to your dealer and they are supposed to replace them no charge.

I had a problem like that with my old Hyundai Elantra. It was severe enough that you could have had a goldfish swimming around in there. Okay, not that bad but there was a lot of water inside.

I used the smallest drill bit I had (1/32" maybe) and drilled up at an angle into the plastic. You could not see the hole and all the water came out. I never had a problem again.

The Magnum has a soul. It has a personality, something all too lacking in the automotive transportation appliances everybody else is offering.

I live in Wa so it rains all the time, when it first warms up mine get all fogged up inside but no standing water.

I had a headlight moisture issue on my Magnum. The dealer put a new lamp in under warranty. But I noticed between the time I scheduled it and the actual appointment that the real problem was just a loose parking light socket. It was allowing moisture in that way. I must have knocked it loose somehow...

I've seen moisture in one of my rear tail lights lately too. I want to wait until we've had a few days without rain to take it in so they won't just tell me that it's normal with all the excess humidity.

    GL with your headlight.

    Thanks All,

I'll be making an appointment next week. My main concern was the dealer not wanting to cover this. Soulds like they should.

I see this on the Chargers way more than any other LX.
