Exhaust V6 3.5L

I want to get an upgrade on my charger exhaust, make it sound like a beast. I don't know what to get? What is the best one? And can any exhaust go on my charger or does it have to be a specific one? And what is the difference between a muffler and exhaust? Thank you.

Howdy, don't know if you ever figured out whats up but this is what I did and I am amazingly happy with mine - - -

The first problem you have is the fact that the exhaust only runs down the passenger side of the car, so you have to have a heat shield made and installed under the floor pan on the drivers side. I looked around at specialty muffler shops and was shocked they wanted hundreds of dollars to either make one, or buy the factory piece through Dodge ..... Well, of all places, MIDAS MUFFLER hooked me up big time ...... they fabricated a piece, and FLOWMASTER proper dual exhaust (not just a tip at the end split at the rear differential) with two chrome tips (thankfully, the rear bumper fascia is already cut out for the second exhaust port) cost me almost exactly 500 bucks!

I can almost swear it was the best 500 bucks I spent on the car. Its got a deep, throaty exhaust, and I have fooled many a Charger guy (since I have rebadged it as an R/T as well) that they think its the Hemi ......

Hopefully you have a MIDAS in your area, if so, have them call the MIDAS in Spokane (509-455-8154) to ask questions about it. Sorry I dont have a way to upload a sound of my exhaust, but I tell ya .... its gotta be exactly what you are looking for, at a price that can't be beat for a fully installed and lifetime guaranteed aftermarket item!
