I have a 06 charger se w/ the 3.5l, its an ex cop car so it comes with the 5spd tranny.. wondering if i swapped in the 5.7, would i be able to convert it to a 6spd manual the challenger has with its 5.7...?
you'd have a lot of work cut out for you. this would not be a simple drop in. do some searching on the forums and you'll find some lengthy conversations on it. If you want a six speed with a hemi, buy a challenger. Ain't worth the headache and cost of converting yours since the 5 speed auto is an amazingly good transmission.

Your biggest hurdle is getting the auto PCM to recognize that is has a manual transmission.
