    Dukes of Hazard Movie

Does anyone know if the new charger will appear in the Dukes of Hazard movie that is coming out this July starring Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds, WIllie Nelson and more? Here is all I could find on it:

The General Lee is back and so are the Duke boys in this big-screen adaptation of the hit TV series, brought to you by Jay Chandrasekhar of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe. Set in the "present day," the story follows Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) as they cruise around Hazzard County and wreck havoc in their classic 1969 Dodge Charger. Together with their scantily clad cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and moonshining Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), the two good old boys battle the corrupt county commissioner Boss Hog (Burt Reynolds) when he and local Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey) threaten to take away the family farm. John O'Brien and Jonathan Davis penned the first draft of the film with additional rewrites handled by the Broken Lizard gang. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, All Movie Guide

I know they will have an old 69 Charger, but it's in the present day and would be a good promotion for the new charger.

I hope so, that way I have an excuse to see the movie.

May not be the star of the show, but I wouldn't be surprised if the '06 makes a cameo appearance...

"Just the good 'ol boys...never meaning no harm..."

And Jessica Simpson is an insult to try and live up to Catherine Bach. I'd much rather see Angelina Jolie or Ashley Judd.

    ditto
and thank you so much for puttin that freakin song in my melon again.
Daisy is a brunette who just happened to have helped me through puberty, weather she knows it or not. A blonde airhead who lacks talent and who has never watched the dukes just isn't very annointing to such a figure.
Does wonder woman have a daughter? (sweeeet)
Ashley couldn't do it. Not enough scenes to sweat in for her but Angelina would freakin rule. Those lips would totally compliment the cutt offs.
I'm an expert when it comes to the duke boys, man. FROM bo and luke to the gay stand ins, I personally edited out 3 minutes FROM every episode ever made and to think daisy will be defaced in this manner really bugs me.
Sure would be a fun feature to shoot. I'd make the cop cars the new chargers. Rosco could go off on em and boss hogg could try to deny they are really maximas with new badges.
I'd have cooter finally score with daisy too... just cuz he's freakin earned it by now.

Ben "Cooter" Jones is a congressman in Virginia now..or was. He was running for some office with the name "Cooter" like I typed before.

It was suprising to hear him be intervued on local talk radio. He's quite the speaker and has some straight no b.s. views on a lot of hot button issues in the south. Listening to him go on and on about the removal of confederate symbols FROM public places (e.g. South Carolina State Flag) and the revisionist history being taught in our schools was..well you had to hear it.

Kinda funny what happens to folks years later after they few hours of fame are over.

I think he was commenting on your grammar and the fact that your sentences made no sense.

yes, but I try not to pay attention to people who care about that stuff.
I have a spell CHECK and choose not to use it on car forums. When humans play spell CHECK online, it usually means they blow.

OMG, I don't know what's worse: the fact that I recognize that saying, or the fact that it's been at least 20 years since I heard it last...
