Dodge Charger LX Color options by Year/Model?

Well I figured I'd add something useful to the Mix...In hopes this becomes a STICKY thread
This is a DUMMIES guide to vehicle color options for the 2006-and up LX Dodge Charger
The Charger has various colors avaialble only for that year and or trim package.
Certain models have certain traits, engines, colors that make them Unique.

FORMAT:
COLOR NAME - FACTS AND COMMENTS ABOUT THE SELECTED COLOR. SOME PORTION OF THE INFO ARE OPINIONS AGREE BY MAJORITY AND NOT FACT.

All 06 Color choices -Some vehicles may not be of that exact year . But are of that exact color
TorRed - In 06 this color was only available in Daytona package with 2000 made. Color matched interior panels All the Daytona Items. Refered to as "The Daytona Bastard child" or "Red-Headed Stepchild" pun intended.. as this color was not in any sales brochure and introduced Late 06 and is the only color of the 06 Daytonas to date to be released in NON Daytona fashion later.



Top Banana - Only produced in 06 for the Daytona. 4000 made in. Retro Name All the Daytona goodies.



Stone White CLearcoat - Rumored 09 Daytona Color Yet to be determined.

Midnight Blue Pearlcoat - 06 only Color , not numbered not limited.



Magnesium Pearcoat - 1 of the least produced colors, nothing to do with popularity

Go ManGo Metallic - 06 only color, Made Primarily for the Daytona Except for 1 SRT8 The first ever to roll off the assembly line. 4000 Daytona's made Retro Color,

TorRed - Released in 07 as a permenant standard color option. Debunking the exclusivness of the TorRed Daytona. Making Daytona CLones easy. ANd probably dropping the value of the TorRed Daytona.

SubLime Green - Retro color, 1500 made , all the standard Daytona Extras. Ya either Loved it or Hate it.

Plum Crazy Purple - Retroname and color, Least produced retro color. All Plum Crazy vehicles Daytona or SRT8 all came with Daytona Flat Blk Spoiler and Daytona FLat Blk Grill. Only Reto color to be produced in mass amounts as Daytona And SRT8. Go Mango had only 1 SRT8.1400 Daytonas and 300 SRT8 produced. Only Non Superbee SRT8 to be Numbered, by order of purchased not assembled.

Hemi Orange - Last of the Daytona's Alledgedly. Available on Charger in Daytona Trim ONLY for 08
Introduced the New Daytona Strip. Some say it becasue of the fingerlip in the fuel door. This particular car has the "Beast Shaker Hood COnversion. " Not specific to Daytona in 08 just a huge populated aftermarket MOD which Many dealers added and covered under warranties.

2009 Color Choices - Pics represented may not be of that exact year but are of that exact color

2009 Color options have been spoken and chatted to be the Least eye cathing color choices since the arrival of the Charger. With only 1 new color to make the lineup and no Sign of green colored charger anywhere.(See 2007 Sublime for the only Green pallete available)

TorRed - the 4th year available and the 3rd year in everyavailable model. Introduced in late 2006 as one of the Daytona Editions and continued in 2007 with availabilty in any model Charger. See 2006-2008 TorRed for more info about this color.

Stone White CLearcoat - Available this year as a Daytona(late availablilty) and as a standard selectable color. Daytona Clones will now be possible. The entry of the 2009 Daytona in StoneWhite throw off the Countown of the Daytona's. In 2006 there were 3, 2007 there were 2, in 2008 there was 1 now in 2009 there is 1 so far. Could there be 2 in 2010, and 3 in 2011?




Light Sandstone Metallic - 2nd year availablility introducesd in 2008, Color aimed at a more subtle buyers demographic.


Inferno Red Crystal Pearlcoat - Available again for the 4th straight year. Most likely in every available Model.


Hemi Orange Pearlcoat - The color of the Mopar Hemi comes back again. Said to be released in only SuperBee Fashion. We will see if it makes it onto any other models. So far The CHarger Has seen the HemI orange in only Daytona and Super Bee Fashion.

Deep Water Blue Pearlcoat - ANOTHER BLUE!!!! Revived color from the mid to late 90's. Brought back in Nice Fashion And in SRT8 Making this the first New addition to the Non limited SRT8 lineup. Add this brilliant blue to the other sensational blue that has already hit the Charger PLatform.( Other Blue Chargers: 06 midnight Blue, 07 steel blue, Marine Blue, 08 B5 Blue Pearl)

Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat - In its 4th year. Brilliant Black is Back and with a Twist a unknown limited edition Brilliant Black Charger said to be released in 2009. Unclear if it will be a Superbee, Daytona, or something New. With all the limited edition vinyl already being Black (exception of a extremely few white decal'd Factory Plum Crazy Purple Daytona's) All vinyl in the classic categories were factory white.Will the vinyl on the Next Gen Charger Be Charcoal Silver? White? Or Black on Black? And DId the Economic recession Kill the hopes of a Late Year Brilliant Black Charger?

Yeah i heard something of that nature but never confirmed that if it was 200 out of the US' 4000 that went to Canada. Or does the Canadian Daytona's Say # of 200
