    Dealer installed Shaker Intake?

Has anyone seen a dealer install and sell a new Charger with a shaker hood. I ran into someone who says they drove it off the lot with 2 miles on it from the dealership. Was just curious if this is common?

Not common, but dealers (most ...not all) will customize a car if asked. Its a way to sell upgrades right away.

I'm sure Eastway (Supporting Vendor) would do it. I've seen many LXs come from them with mods already, aftermarket hoods on Magnums and Chargers, 20" and 22" wheels, full exhaust systems, lowering kits, etc...

    Cool

Yeah, some dealers do the mods to give the car some more appeal. This also gives the person buying it the opportunity to have a mod that they can pay for over several years if they chose to take a loan out to pay for the car. My brother in law works for a dealership that puts 20" and 22" on every Charger,Magnum and 300 that come onto their lot. In addition to that they give you the old wheels so you can have two sets which comes in handy up here in wisconsin if you drive your car in winter.

I'm pretty sure I'd leave off the 'most' out of that sentence. I think it's more like "The smart dealers won't be afraid of installing non-factory parts and charging a bundle for them."

The dumbass_dealers will run in fear and attempt to completely deny any and all warranty claims if they see ANY aftermarket parts, and I think that 98-99% of so-called 'dealers' fall into that category.

And I'd also lump ALL so-called '5-Star' dealers in with the latter group.
