    Charger video

Here is a Chrysler video of the Charger.
The video is 20 minutes long. The Charger is shown in the first four minutes.
The SRT-8 is shown 12 minutes INTO the video.

Wow great video. Very funny and well done. Quite a bit of softcore swearing which I dunno how I feel about for promotional videos (not that I'm offended, I have the mouth of a longshoreman!) My favorite is when the PR/Marketing weenie comes out and talks about marketing integrity. YEAH RIGHT. That guy had me rolling! One thing I thought they said was that the Charger has 340HP and 365 lb/ft of torque. What happened to the 390 like the 300 and Magnum have? I find that odd. Perhaps the entire powerband is shifted as well? Wonder whats up there. Thanks for the great video link!

Charger fever? Cough, cough... I think it's feeling more & more like a virus...

Seems like they're a bit nervous about how it's going to be received - like the part where they try to justify why it looks nothing like a Charger... "some of our competitors in town like to take old cars and make exact duplicates of them, but we like to do a modern version of them."

Read that, "some of our competitors in town like to take old cars and make exact duplicates of them, but we just re-use the nameplates."

    I think I like it!!!
Looks cool, I wonder what the curb wieght is, a little lighter than my Magnum RT.
Sure wish they slid it around a little, or at least let us hear the exhaust note!
I'm digging the Magnum enough not to wonder if I should have waited! Way more versitle and the only thing on the road like it!

wow, that video was incredible, i don't know if any of you stuck around to watch the rest of it, pretty cool. I still want to see one in real life, i'm not completely sold on it over my magnum. In the end, like magnum8r said... there's nothing on the road like the magnum, and i agree with him, and i'm completely happy with it. The 365 lb/ft of torque did catch me by surprise as well, i think that's the torque that the awd hemi's have... pretty interesting. I'll have to look at the specs more closely, maybe it was 365 lb/ft FROM the beginning, i just assumed it was 390. oh well... nice video, great find

AWESOME! That vid is the SHIZZNIT! Now how do we save it to our computers? I would like to archive it and maybe cut it down to just the LX related vids. My fav, though corny, is the CRIBS Hip-hop segment.

Well thanks for the file, but it's not indexed so you can't fast forward and Windows Movie Maker won't import it so I can cut out clips. :(

How did you get the file and what can we do to get it indexed like a normal wmv vid file?

    Thanks in advance.
