Charger service manual...
Guys/Gals, please have mercy on the noob.... I did a search for "charger service manual", and didn't find what I was looking for, so I apologize in advance if this has been asked/answered to death already... so, here goes... *gulp*
Does anyone know where to buy a 2006 Charger Service Manual? Preferably the one that comes on CD that the Dodge mechaniacs use, but I'd be interested in buying, say, a Chiltons as well.
I even Googled it and came up empty.

Ask a dodge dealer. They might have them on cd at the carslie next year or the Nats. i'm sure you can get you hands on them some how, they are just 2 new right now.

There is also this: http://www.lxperformance.com/2005lx/ It is for the 300s and Magnums, but pretty much everything should be the same on the Charger. That might get you what you need until a Charger specific one or a Charger included update is available.

Try ebay. I bought one for my '04 Durango for about $20. Well worth it. They available through Dodge at

Service Manual
Hi, DCM Publications 1 800 890 4038.
I call each week for the latest info. Last time checked " Today 4:40 EST".
Nothing available yet ! Hope this helps.
UpDate :
Called again 4:50 pm EST.
They will accept orders on line and over the phone, however they have no 2006 Manuals in stock to ship.
If you order, they won't charge your credit card till they ship (so they say).
They don't know when they'll be available.

Ok when I tried to order this service manual on CD
#81-270-06065CD
This is the one listed on Tech Authority's site as:
"2006 300, CHARGER & MAGNUM (LX) SERVICE MANUAL ON COMPACT DISC"
I am told it is for SRT 8 models only.
I was also told that the '05s just came out on CD and they do not know how the '06s could be out so soon.
I asked why if this is for the '06 SRT 8s only and they are not on dealer's lot why are they available and the Charger has been out for months why can you not get them yet.
Response "I don't know."
I am going to ask my parts guy about this next week.
