I can see where the Charger is going to be a real love hate type of car. Either you love it or you hate it. No real middle ground on it. Can't wait to see one at the dealership. I love the Magnum too much to change though.

I was hoping that a Charger purchase next summer would give my wife and I HIS and HERS Hemi's. How cool would that be..? 8)Originally Posted by MagnumFreak

<-- Loves it. I have been about the only one it seems to like it so far.

Every car in the LX series is a love it or hate it car. The Charger is just carrying on that tradition![]()
Well... After seeing that pic, im torn... cause i love the magnums practicality... but that just looks so sweet!!! Needs a spoiler, like the one on the Intrepid RT
I agree with this statement and I applaud Chrysler for making bold automobiles and not knock offs. Just like great beer, it should have enough flavor that some find it objectional.Originally Posted by Taha24

for some reason, i think the stock charger with an auto, even with a 42le behind hte hemi, would slaughter a Golf TDIOriginally Posted by Ramrod

I can only agree. My car is "teh suck" when it comes to performance.
I just can't kick this addition to clutches. All the pennies are saved, so I am hoping the Charger gets a clutch(even a sequential box with a real clutch would appease me). Otherwise the wife wins and we get an Audi......
DCX don't let the wife win!

The Charger RT with the 5.7L Hemi will run 0-60 in under 6 seconds. I'm 5.8 or 5.9 as a safe bet.

I agree with ramrod, none of these lx's are average, like your dad used to have. The first time I saw the red magnum ad ,I said to my wife "what the hell is that".I also said somethin like"chrsyler is a bunch of freaks" when I saw the first 300 ad.I'm an average American, used to the big threes one size fits all, average Lutzmobiles.
Also ,it's nice to have his, hers and hers Hemi's
