    Charger.....Its Official

    Detroit News Article

The reborn Charger will be a mass market sedan built on the same underpinnings as the new Chrysler 300 Series sedan and Dodge Magnum wagon.

Chrysler officials said the Charger will look very different from those vehicles. The new Charger is being planned for the 2006 model year.

    Yay!

    Kind of.

I am getting pretty sick and tired of the Big 3 taking legendary nameplates and throwing them on mass produced cars.

Its just a sales gimmick and cheapens the image.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.

But you have to admit the LX plateform is a great start , its not like its a FWD 4 cyl like the last Charger Dodge built . This is a big V8 powered machine. I can wait .

From the Chrysler Employee Daily News: 030804

Dodge may get full-size RWD sedan

The Automotive News is reporting that Dodge may add a full-size rear-wheel-drive sedan to its lineup next year. According to the publication, the car draws inspiration from the Dodge Charger muscle car of the late 1960s. Jason Vines, Vice President—Communications, declined comment, citing the company's policy not to talk about future products.

As I said over at Allpar: The info is now getting out, nothing but up from here.

Look at the forum, there must be at least 5 topics on the Charger now. The water has begun flowing, it is coming...
