Just brought my new baby home and have filled him up twice... hehehe..
Getting about 14 mpg with in-town, traffic everywhere, running errands kind of driving..
Still playing too though... such a thrill to step on it and get slammed into the back of the seat...

Its bad i cant keep my foot out of it .13 mpg
I have about 9,500 miles on her, and average with CAI about 16 around town, and about 17.5 to 18.8 on the highway. I'm sure I could bust into 19.x if using using cruise and staying around 70 on the highway. I typically cruise around eighty.

Man I easily see 300 miles per tank, and you are well less than that. Have they changed the tank size or what?

I will have to check when I get her back on the road.... the display says 13 but I was pretty rough on her the last time I had her out.....

I just got back from a trip to Waxhaw NC (looking for a home to buy). This is the first road trip for this SRT/8.
No mods other than a K&N drop in air filter.
Road miles 22.5-23 didn't baby her and mostly ran 70-80 MPH and slammed her to 100 a couple of times just to make a few Rustangs wimper that thought they could ride in my draft.
What is it with Northcarolinians....are the in a hurry or just drafting to save gas? I was cruzing at 80 and got passed by a lot of people.
anyway....around town here I get 13-14.
This is better than the 5.7 magnum I had was doing both on the road and around town. Best I saw on the Magnum was 23.5 when I went to NC the first time last year.
If you're thinking about buying an LX you may as well go for the 6.1L as the gas consumption is nearly the same but the performance will leave you pinned to the seat! No difference in the insurance premiums either.
Stock SRT
Can my vote be to ban Tbird's gas mileage threads?
(Waiting patiently for the 2011/12 300C SRT 8)
i know for me when i was buying the car i didnt care what the MPG was. if i was i would have went for an import.
