    Cool

I mostly do city driving. Since my speed is so inconsistent, the MDS hardly comes on. If I were able to hold a steady speed more consistently I would have a better number than 13.

Rather than pick an absolute number, I'd use a range, like 1-5, 5-10, 10-15 etc.

I've seen my RT hold mid-to-high 30's for minutes on end and at the end of the 1/4 mile I've seen it say 3.xx.

On a 6400 mile roadtrip I got 22.7 overall, this years roadtrip to VT and Upstate NY was 26.7 on the way up and 22.4 on the way back.

Around town and flogging it a bit I can see mid-teens.

I guess my mileage /does/ vary...

I drove from Bowie, MD (Annapolis area) to Charleston, SC and got 28 on the way down. On the way back I got just under 27 (We got into rush-hour traffic in D.C.). Last weekend I drove from Ocean City,MD to Englishtown, NJ (226 miles) I got 26.8 going there. On the way home I got 25.9 (180 mile trip with traffic tolls and rain)

As a daily driver I get around 19.5 (as long as my wife does not drive then it's 16.5)

My wife just drove to Lancaster today (she does not know how to get good mileage) She says she got 19.5 MPG on a 120 mile trip.

My wife and I can drive the same trip (home to Ocean City,MD... 113 mile trip)with different MPG. I can drive to O.C. and get 26+ she can drive there and get 19+

Different styles of driving can make a big difference in MPG. I am one that holds a constant speed, passes only when there is an open space, locks my foot against the console to hold a constant throttle position and lets the MPH range 10-15 MPH up and down hills. I also anticipate hills and speed up before I get to them so I don't have to press on the pedal to get to the crest. My wife is one that races up to an opening then stomps it to make the lane change. My wife is also one that accelerates up to or passes on a hill.

Yea Yea... I fuss at her all the time......

OH... I hate to ride with her. ...
After knowing her for 40+ years ????.. Married for 20.....

I usually average about 17 combined as a daily driver.

The only long road trip I've done (800 miles roundtrip), I got 24. And that was with a heavy foot most of the way.

I average about 19 to 20 in mixed driving. I can get it up around 23-24 on mostly highway miles and I have had it as low as 14 when I couldn't keep my foot out of it.

18-21 combined driving, on the highway with the cruise set 24 doing 75mph, without the cruise and me regulating the pedal on the highway I can get 25mpg doing 75-80mph.

I am averaging 20-22 overall. Stock Daytona driving in 40% city, 60% highway.
