My wife's Mini Cooper has it. Installed by dealer. Works as advertised. Not one stone chip where the coverage is.

Her car is red with a white top and mirrors. The rally stripes are put on over the bra and now that the car is a few years old I know why. The white mirrors have clear bra on them and they are turning yellow. It is very slight but noticeable. On the red it is invisible.

I would suggest not getting it on a white car. I don't think the material itself is discoloring. I think it is just soft enough that it is embedded contaminants that is causing the yellow appearance.

Not sure what it would do on the silver. It will peel right of if it goes bad though.

If I remember correctly , I looked into it when i bought my Mag, new, back in august '07, it was like $700 and it was said to last 5 years. I figured I could repaint the front end for that IF it needed it. I also hard about it turning color as time goes on. My vote was NO, LOL.

I saw it on a torred daytona here at a M&G I couldn't even tell it was there until I looked really really hard the easiest car to see it on IMO is black and when it fades white.

Unable to find a local Dealer/Installer in SF Bay area. Was supposed to be a group buy-did not pan out. I'd get it right away if found.

I have a connection to get it, mine was done before my trip to Ohio

So with it on I have been 2800 miles to Ohio and back

1700 miles to New Orleans and back

2000 miles to SE Shindig and back

Right after I got it on:

    At SE Shindig:

Still perfect looking and the bugs just wash right off with the power washer.

If there is interest someone post a thread for a group buy in my vendor section and I will see what I can do.

A local guy here has a srt4 with it on.

You cant tell unless you look at an angle and catch the line where it ends.

I think its nice to have but It's pretty pricey.

That was likely my car you saw it on. I highly recomend a clearbra to anyone who is a car fanatic like me. I have had my car almost two years and the front end still looks as prefect as the day I got it. Best part is I just spray some detailer over it then wipe away the dead bugs, very easy maintainance.

I'm not sure what brand is on my car as it was on it when I bought it and I'm the second owner. However by looking at the 3M patterns and the lines of mine, it could very well be a 3M kit. If it is I can tell you that after a few years of use, it will start to dull. I've been working on pulling mine off a few sections at a time because it now looks like a**. The rear looks all scuffed up and the front does have a few pits in it, but the paint underneath looks to be OK. It's done it's job, but it needs to be replaced. Oh and it doesn't just peel off after being on for a few years. It tough stuff so it doesn't rip when you take it off, but it tends to leave quite a bit of adhesive residue that is a PITA to remove even with Goo Gone. However the sections I've pulled off so far have been in cooler weather. I'd imagine that trying this in warmer weather would result in a better release but I may be way off base here. There are a couple of smaller sections I can try once the weather is warm enough, the sun is out and I have the time (and ambition). I can also tell you that if you do get it put on, be very diligent about removing any wax from the seams. Whoever originally owned my car did not do this and even though I was able to get quite a bit of the wax build-up removed from the seams, there is still quite a bit that has gotten just under the edge of the bra and it shows up as a nice white line that looks like one heck of a scratch until you get a real close look at it.

This is the other reason I want to remove mine. I need to get the crud off and get things looking good again. Then I'll entertain getting another put on that I know is a 3M kit.
