    Air Dam Removal

Has anyone removed the left side air dam behind the grill? It seemed to block fresh air from entering the intake area(K&N setup). This verticle plastic shroud obviosly directs more air through the radiator, but with the fans running on high this isn''t a concern. South Florida heat in the summer is brutal, ventalation is the key! I'm not sure if this is commonly done, it doesn't seem to effect cooling...179@ 95 deg..

I removed mine when I removed the intake resonator. No problems overheating.

I am almost positive that I read somewhere that when they took that out that their car had overheating problems.. I don't see why it would though, just don't take both sides out.
