    5db Blastin Bob?

I am looking at some 5db Blastin Bob pipes for my 09 R/T Charger. Does anyone have any information on how 5db will sound with my HEMI engine? Is it worth the money? Because i am looking for something loud when you step on the gas, but not ridiculously loud all the time. Is this the right choice?

I would also be interested in any offers that anyone would like to put up for any set of 5dbs.

    Thanks!!

I just sold my Blastin Bob 5db Kit. They don't make the car loud. I have a Hemi with the Road & Track package. There is a small amount of resonance but I was looking for more of a tuned sound. I ended up placing the Stock resos back on the car and putting Flowmaster Super 44's in place of the suitcase. It has a nice sound with no drone. I may decide to delete the resos again but I will just have new pipe bent with a glass pack in place of the resos to minimize drone and some nice tips welded. I will say that the Blastin Bobs are of very good quality and can be installed as a Do it Yourself project. Just measure twice and cut once.

I have them on my 09 R/T, I like them, not super loud but a good rumble. I put them on myself in less than an hour....the only downside is the drone the I get inside under low RPM exceleration

I have the 5db resonator delete kit on my '06 MRT and I really like the sound. It's not overly loud but is definitely louder and makes more of a grumble than before.

It depends how much sound you are looking for. I was looking for a nice rumble when I start the car, which the 5db provides. On the highway it is almost as quiet as stock.

You should really consider getting electric cutouts. Then you can have stock sound or extreme sound when ever you want.

    (Don't buy from DMHPerformance.com)

I have the 4db kit with the super 44's and at first it wasnt loud enough. I took the stock 2 1/4 inch tail pipes off and put 2 1/2 inch on and it brought out more of the flowmaster sound. I think Im going to change out the stock xpipe section with a 2 1/2 inch section and then I will have a true 2 1/2 inch system, I think it will be just right. HOPEFULLY!!!!
