About LinkBacksquestion? the R/T does 0-60mph in how many seconds? i have an R/T with R&T package, and a mopar CAI. i have been trying to see in how many seconds i can get from 0-60, everytime i get to 60 in around 7 seconds!! yeh that sux! sooo just wonderin on how to get the best timing.
plz help

You should be closer to 6 than to 7

i know! i tried from 1st gear with esp, without esp, starting at 1500rpm, in D, its all close to 7 seconds!! i mean the 1st second the car keeps on burning rubber ( i dont know what u call it :P), but after that its good. i dont want it to burn rubber, i want a smooth 0-60. i did it once and only once, couldnt do it again

Whats the weather like atm? That can play a huge role in times. Its been too rainy here for me to get good times but you should be low 6's high 5's on nice dry pavement. Also are using the autostick or in automatic? I find that manually shifting I tend to get better times. (Also if you have an 06 it still shifts for you at red line but seems to shift harder if in autostick). Just some thoughts for you, hope it helps.

I've been running average 9.10 to 9.20 at the 1/8th mile track at 77.5 to 78 mph...my Mag RT is stock except for Superchips...averaging 5.7 to 5.8 to 60 mph and 2.05 to 2.15 at 60 feet...conditions play a big part but 7 seconds does not sound right at all...closer to 6 is where you should be...

ok do you start the stopwatch after you press the acceleration? or after the car stops burning rubber (still dont know what everybody calls it) and starts moving?

How are you getting the numbers? Superchips? Stopwatch?
Have you checked your speed (at 60+) against a GPS? Maybe your speedo is off a little bit and when you show 60 on the speedo you are going 62 or 63.

Try the 0-60 timer built into the EVIC.
2007 Charger, Sublime Green # 0107 (US)Fogs enabled w/ High beams, Underhood Light, Cabin air Filter, Hood Struts, Glovebox Light, uConnect mirror (w/o telematics at this point)
