    Workin' Hard!

    Been doing some work on the Maggie lately. Check it out.


    To Do --> Low profile mirrors, 2 door conversion, shaved tail lights and then flush mounting them to the lift gate,
    custom paint.

    looks good, but, where and how did you relocate the wire harness too?
    leavin me hangin here... LOL...

    Naw, you do need to take your sweet time and not get the metal to hot.

    I got the idea from Charg-um. I put the trunk release underneath the bumper next to the license plate light. Then I just cut ott the wiring harness and tapped into the wires near the battery adn ran the wires through the rubber grommet under the bumper.

    No, you don't have to take out the glass. Simply tack weld the plug into the hole and you're good. The body filler should reinforce it fine. I used fiberglass to do mine and have had no problems with cracks or anything.

    Did you weld your handle up more? or did you leave it like that then mudded over it?




    You don't have to take your glass out!! Get a plug and start welding!
    So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!
