    Win, Lose or Draw?

I posted on another thread that I received a $69.95 tune-up deal from my local dealer, the only restriction being Pt plugs. Since I have a Magnum RT (with 16 plugs) I thought I would push the limit.

I went in for the service today plus an oil change. Bottom line is that they would not budge on the 16 plugs for $69.95 but did offer me the, regularly $200, service for $120 plus free-for-life oil changes for the Maggie and my 300M.

So was it a Win, Lose or Draw...I'm leaning toward Win since I did not buy either car from them.

Just tell them to bottle all of the oil that they are going to give you free and then sell it for a $1 a quart and then go out and buy mobile 1 sythetic from wal-mart and do your own oil changes.

I'm quite sure its just out-of-the-ground type oil, probably bulk. Since I have the zero deductible 85k/80mo. warranty I think I'm OK with 3,000 mile changes of non-synthetic for the 5.7.
