    Who's done the Hemi Swap?

I know someone as done it, just looking at what's involved.

    Thanks.

are you talking about swapping from a v6?

you'd be better off trading up for the Hemi rather than swapping as it isn't cost effective

    No such user.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

The only swaps I've seen are 5.7 to 6.1. You'll spend twice as much going from V6 to V8 as you would just trading the car, I can promise you that much. If you're worried about your existing mods, take 'em with you.

Will I'm thinking, of buying a v6 Magnum, either from auction or lightly wrecked. Then buying a wrecked Hemi, and just swapping it over, if the prices are right.

    Thanks.

There is a member in Mechanicsville, MD who has successfully swapped a 3.5L to a 5.7L hemi including PCM and all the interior climate control functions!

I was looking for an engine swap how-to as well.
Locally there are brand new Hemi motors for sale ($2995) and I have an AWD V6 Mag.
Got a shop researching for me now but I'm wondering how hard of a project is it.

To do that you will need the donor to have all the same options. You will need to change over all the wiring, all the computers, the transmission and rear. The accessory mounts are different along with the motor mount cradles. Remember you have to swap the front springs so you will have the proper ride height. While you are at it you should upgrade the front brakes too. You need to swap over all the coolant hoses, A/C hoses and P/S hoses. Lets not forget the radiator.

After everything is all swaped over you still have to program it on a StarScan to sync it so it will run and drive.

11K it will cost you to do a upgrade from a V6 to V8.

    That includes everything!!
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!
