I got a nice floor jack and some jack stands for Christmas so I can swap wheels (when I finally get some) and paint the calipers. Where do you place the jack stands?

Refer to Owner's Manual provided with vehicle for proper emergency jacking procedures.
WARNING: THE HOISTING AND JACK LIFTING POINTS PROVIDED ARE FOR A COMPLETE VEHICLE. A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting in the cell next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
I pick the rear up with the pumpkin and so far nothing bad has happened.
When we did the headers, we went as far up in the air as the jackstands would allow, and when we got to the 4th one were like 'Why is the car not touching this one?" Turned out that it's kitty-corner number was set about an inch taller than it and the car didn't flex enough to notice, just kind of hovered there, in the air on 3 jackstands.
On a completely unrelated note, Does your Magnum have this part in it?
