Okay, I know it's early, but when do y'all think we will see the 2006 models hit showrooms?
Next Spring, or summer??
And, will there be any changes to the LX line?![]()

I don't think any changes to the LX line...but most certainly additions!

Well, I'd assume we'll see a tow package and almost assuredly we'll see a price increase!
I hope we see a Sport Package Option based on bits and pieces FROM the SRT-8 versions. This car really needs a lowered sport suspension and perhaps a body kit. Also hope they add blue glass to SRT-8 and Sport model.

HIDs!!!! I love the look of the projector lights on the SRT-8 concept. Also FROM a design point of view (I know that this will never happen....) I'd love to see the hood expand to the grill (as it did on the SRT-8 concept) so that ugly seam above the grill disappears. I suppose if I never saw the SRT-8 concept, that seam wouldn't bug me, but I saw it and think it looks much better without the seam.
Last but not least, I would love to see the center column on the dash (with the radio and HVAC controls) with a brushed aluminum finish similar to the 300s. I think it looks so much better (less bland) than the all black/gray interior of the current model.
That's just me being nit-picky....the Magnum is an incredible car and is packed with tons of features for the price. I'd be more than proud to drive one, and I can't wait to see one in my garage.
My guess for issue date of the 06s would be in September 2005 when most other 06 vehicles are released. The 300M came out in about April of 1998 as a 1999 model. The 2000 model was released in Sept of 1999.
As far as improvements, I would hope they would do a wood or tortoise shell trim around the center dash and console area. Or maybe real aluminum or carbon fiber trim pieces instead of those aluminum colored plastic pieces on the C. Also they should make the headrests tilt fore and aft. Also those plastic coated aluminum wheels have got to go. The 300C deserves a real chrome sporty looking aluminum wheel. And how about a locking gas cap with interior release.
I just hope they don't decontent the 300C as they did with the 300M as the years progressed. Most manufacturers add to a vehicle as the model ages. Chrysler disappointed a lot of M owners by cost cutting when they cheapened certain parts of the M. And they probably thought nobody would notice.
2000 silver 300M loaded...
So the '06 models fall of next year?!?! That's a year and half run of the 2005 models.Originally Posted by EasyRider300C
Maybe, but I think summer of 2005 sounds more reasonable.

Lets hope they have some upgrades, like mentioned, and make a mid model year UPDATE cars like a "2005.5" 300C and Magnum.
I's take a 2005 1/2 Dodge Magnum with HID lights Please!
