LX what is your LX's "happy speed"

every car has a "perfect" speed, where the car "floats" and everything is in harmony, a speed where the steering is crisp, the suspension is "just right" and the car seems to just be perfect....

what is your cars "happy" speed...

for my 2005 300C it is 78-79 mph... car just seems perfect, below 75... eh it's ok... above 80 it's fine but ride seems harsh.. at 78 - 79 it just feels perfect....... like I'm floating on air...

in my 2002 Impala it was 67-69 mph

    in my 2000 Silverado Z71 it was 72 - 74mph

so what is your LX's perfect speed???????

Mine (before the major overhaul) 'leveled out' at 80. But I swear it got angry, bowed it neck and caught its second wind at 150. Only had the rare occasion to hit that mark a few times, and of course only where legally permitted, but when I did, I swear she hunkered down a tad and begged for more. Almost like the pavement in front of it was a chum line, and she became a ravenous great white.

everything for me feels just about perfect at about 73-75. I can drive that speed for hours without cruise on because everything just lines up and feels great.

if cruise is on, the most comfortable spot is just a touch over 80... thats where MDS and V8 mode are the quietest through the Billy Boat, and where the car "settles in" and handles wind buffeting and such well.

80ish is usually good here. On a long road trip, 110 is freakin' perfect! Cruising around there and stepping on the go pedal makes her squat down and want to go!!!

80 seems to be the magic number. Nice feeling at 80. It looks to be our ZEN speed.

My Maggie likes to go fast, her 300 likes it alittle slower, until we found out our perfect speed numbers we would be turning all night. My perfect speed number is 81, shes a 66. Now, I can get a perfect night of speeding and turning without disturbing her.
