What problems are you having with your LX?

I wanted to get all my complaints in one post. Maybe you can give me advice and add to the list.

    1. Lost Cruise Control after 22 install did not insert pressure sensors.

    2. Intermittent check engine Light. Code P0340 and P0335 Crankshaft sensor and cam shaft sensor.

    3. Auto headlights turn off while driving at night about once a month, I then turn to manual lights till I restart which fixes the problem.

    4. Some times my auto window roll up or down stops working, and it just stops when you let go. Then the problem goes away. I had my car going on 6 months now this has happened at least 4-5 times.

And thats all I can complain about, every thing else I love. Im making an appointment for my 3rd oil change and every thing mentioned above pretty soon. I all ready put 10'000 miles on my car since April.

well #3 and #4 sound like (to me) you have a loose battery connection.

both features stop functioning after battery disco..

and these cars are known to come off the assembly line with loose fuses and battery cables.

    as for my problems..

in 14 months I have had my airbag system repaired 9 times.

    5 new clock springs
    7 new wire harnesses
    4 new connectors
    2 airbags (steering wheel)
1 new steeering column, including the electric telescoping motor and rack and pinion linkage.

3 new sun roofs (track, motor, rain guard, and air deflector)

    new FCM
    new TCM
    new CCN

    new Cluster

new rack and pinion / tie rods

new window regulators on all four doors.

3 new Navigation units (one for jammed CD changer, one for Joystick issue before repair found, and one for LCD going out)

all in 14 months of ownership..

however my motor and tranny are solid, no issues at all with either in 54K miles.

I had to have my radio replaced because it wouldn't work in the cold but that's it.

I've had two problems with my early '06 300C, both well known.

    1. transmission O ring leak

    2. Left rear power window quit working.

    Both fixed under warranty.

Only a few minor things so far for us (06 Mag RT):

"O" Ring replaced under warranty for the tranny

Random los of the power windows auto up and auto down. Fix this using the method in the manual.

Left rear power window motor stopped working. Replaced under warranty.

O2 sensor had to be replaced. Kept throwing codes ( I can't remember which ones). Also replaced under warranty.

The one thing that worries me a little bit is these things, although small warranty items, happened when the car was relitively new. What kind of things are going to happen when the car starts to get up there in miles and the warranty runs out? Oh well at this point I am not going to worry about it and I am going to keep enjoying the best and coolest car that I have ever owned!!!

    I'll address these.
1.) Your tire sizes need to be programmed with a tuner, as the StarScan/StarMobile only have stock sizes.
2.) You may have a bad crank sensor or a bad cam sensor. The diagnostic procedure has you check the signal with a lab scope on the DRBIII scanner or on a graphing multimeter. It also has you check the basics (5V supply, signal circuit, ground). Either sensor can affect the operation of the other. If you have a long crank time it's usually the cam sensor. But... I've yet to see a cam or crank sensor issue on a 5.7L. It was more common on a 2.7L or 4.7L engine, but again... the fuel system works the same way on a 5.7L.
3.) Purely a guess, either a bad light sensor or a bad headlght switch. Any A/C issues???
4.) TSB 08-011-07 Rev. A covers the Auto up/down windows issue.

nothing broken at all, best car ever! 2 TSBs done rotors and rad flush, thats it! And to think I was reluctant about buying Chrysler.
Have had a vette that had the motor pulled when 3 days old and a Suzuki bike, intruder 1400, that knocked from mile 300 till they finally agreed to work on it (after it was burning a quart of oil in 10 miles, 2,800 on the OD) then refused to cover it ,leaving me holding the bag. Dealer returned it in pieces with dented tank etc. to boot. Suzuki corporate thought it was funny. To this day if anyone recites that old bit about Jap products being built better, I slap the taste out of their mouth

My 06 RT AWD has had three wheel bearings replaced in 16K miles, the horn , horn pad, and wire harness replaced, and now the grand daddy of them all is the tires are bad and need replacing. The stealership won't deal with it they have pushed it off to Coni to deal with. I am still in the process of getting a straight answer from them, I have thought about getting a lawyer, and maybe going to the media
