    Wet sanding Q's

Since I paint my eye lids on my car I am finally ready to wet sand them smoth, since the orange peel isn't that bad I am going to sand with 2000G sand paper. I am wondering though I have 3m rubbing compound and if I hand buff it will it turn out ok?
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

If you have very light orange peel and you want to do this by hand, I would suggest you get your hands on some 3000 grit paper for the sanding portion of the job. This will give you a much better chance at completely removing any sanding marks from the paint. Make sure you soak the paper for at least 30 minutes before you start sanding.
