    Weird knock/tick in engine.

    Installed a 93 cold air intake tune today on my car. Turned off egr shift firmness increase and added 2.5% wot fuel at all rpms because of my intake. Any idea why or if its harmful? Seems to increase in speed as rpms increase as well. No codes or troubles arising aside from just started hearing the tick or knock after about an hour of driving with the whole new tune. Thanks.

    Do you have a laptop? If you do log some data. If you do not perhaps M@LV will make it possible.

    Is the EGR blocked off or just turned off............just a thought maybe if you turn it off it must be blocked off too......not sure

    Well i took the tune out returned to stock. Oil level is fine egr and mds are back on. Still making the noise i recently pilut my exhaust back on after it being off for a day or two. Sounds like maybe something hitting metal but increases when my rpms do. Car runs great but last night all the sudden this noise started and is scaring/bothering me. Sounds as if its under the engine but also like in the mids area too. So bummed :-(
