Waiting for 300 or Magnum - Miracles do happen

I ordered an RWD RT on 10/13/04

Called the DC 800 # once a week for an UPDATE (thanks to this site ) Been at BX since.
Also called my lame-brain dealer each weak - (waste of energy)

Last week the upbeat fella on the DC line didn't give me the usual "Nope" when I asked "Do you know when I'll moveup to status C or D?" The guy shockingly told me that my car won't be built until January . What the ____!!!!!

He said my dealer was well over there build allotment on new orders for the next two months

I immediately called my Lame-O salesmen who of course had no clue of what I was talking about so I demanded to talk to Slick Rick (Manager), The same buffoon who always reminded me of how his dealership orders the most cars each week (JackA**). He said he'd call the rep and get back to me soon. I didn't hold my breath.

The next day (Last Friday) he said it was all taken care of and my car would be made this month (as I sneezed a BULLSH**).

    Called DC today...
Car mas moved to D1 .
    Had VIN :o .
    Estimated ship date of 11/26

HOLY SCHMOLY BATMAN (I think I my schnozel just leaked some schnizel )

Way cool. Sometimes you just need to stomp your feet hard enough for DC to hear it to get things done.

    Congrats on the quick move.

I bought my Intrepid FROM Neil Dodge back many years ago. Decent experience, but I had a better time at Smithhaven Chrysler/Jeep when I bought my Jeep.

    Fred,

I ordered mine FROM Security Dodge in Amityville. When I first started shopping, all dealers were saying they are selling for MSRP. Just do what they do to you...LIE. Tell them how serious you are about buying and that you wanted to see if they could beat the "other guys" (tell them they told you not to give out thier price and name). As soon as they come back and say they can''t match it, give `em the old "thanks for your time" and walk out. Good chance they'll come back at you. They hate it when you leave, especially when they know your ready to buy.

p.s. - I got mine for 1,900 under MSRP (not including the 1K rebate FROM Chrysler). Made about 3 trips to each of three dealers.
