    Vertex racing

    Has anyone fitted a CAI from Vertex and dealt with them? I am looking at one of them for my hemi in the UK

    Looking at their website, for $118 (dollars? not pounds or euros?) you get your basic filter on a stick combo, which if that price is real isn't a bad deal at all. Just don't expect anything other than a way cooler noise than you had before. I don't see that making a noticeable change in power, like oh - maybe an AirHammer would.

    Agreed, it does look quite good value as it even has a heat shield, so if a cooler noise was the only gain, it would still be worth considering but as the conical filter seems of reasonable quality (from what I can judge in the picture) so I guess it's worth the punt to try it

    That's about what the FrankenFilter cost if I remember correctly.. personally I'd save up a bit more and go for the AirHammer, but then that's just me...
