Open letter to all LXforums members


Ladies and Gentleman START YOUR ENGINES!!…..

First, I want to thank everyone for coming to the table on this;

Northern Rider, hemiwagn, Socal Magnum, Cam, Netsrac, Token, DriveATransam, Buck Silverado,
Bipto, CreatedByOne, jaak, formerice, iRock, grinner, HighHorseman, G.S.M. done, Rev.Hammer,
DawsonMagnum, bigjim, And, of course, the administrators of this site; MagnumClub and DMAG.

Lets GO Racing......

I realize the "Lets Go Racing" project will take us as a group down roads less travelled
and will test many friendships, build new ones and cement us as a viable new way of
conducting business and applying our skills.

The next step. (Northern Rider) and I (wheelife) will write a formal proposal
to submit to the the administrators of LXforums to evaluate, scrutinize and hopefully accept.
Please reply to the above thread or send me a PM if you have any suggestions or
expertise to offer to this project.

Personally I am very interested in how we, as a community, will come together.
I firmly believe that we will prove to ourselves how dynamic we are as a group.

I realise that this endeavour has major financial implications. As some of you may have read
my posts related to small business ownership in North America, you will know that I clearly recognise
the challenge we will face and would have never proposed this idea if I didn’t firmly believe that
we can live-up to our responsibilities and commitments.

I know we can do what we say we are going to do, when we are going to do it,
and do it in a style that, to my knowledge, has never been done before.

I realise this will require a tremendous effort on my part, and having thought about my resources
and abilities I am fully prepared to commit all of my available time and money to realizing our goal.

This is a very big project that will directly affect the reputation of this site and all the people participating
in the project. I personally will, to the best of my ability, not let anybody or any group cause us harm.

I will also say, for the record, that anybody agreeing to participate in this project
that isn’t willing to go to the wall in realising our goals will face my wrath without question.

The financial obligations required to meet our goal, to the layman in finance, will seem overwhelming.
However I have scratched many projects and businesses of this scope and magnitude from the dirt
and feel this project has exactly what it takes to win the race.

I have a firm grasp of the levers required to bring in top fight corporate sponsors and get them
to do things they might not traditionally try, but that is the nature of a truly successful business;
connecting the dots, or seeing the forest instead of the trees.

This will require a strategy that is aggressive, creative and ultimately draws on the fact
that all the people involved in this project are, without question, good and honest people
that care about their neighbours and are willing to make an effort.

So during the Christmas season I hope you can enjoy the moment and embrace your family.

This idea will remain quiet for a few days, but know that behind the scenes many people
are putting their best efforts toward reaching our goal.
