About LinkBacksmy uconnect works great with the nextel. however, is there a way to use the 2-way without pushing the button on the phone? theres gotta be a way.
also, is there a way to turn off bluetooth at will?

On most phones they have an option burried someplace to turn off blue tooth. Which phone do you have ?
As to the direct connect I haven't heard anything about that being workable via BT yet.

it works. you just have to push the button down on the phone to activate the mic.

you got to turn the bluetooth off on the phone not on car.
