Transmission seal blew out 2nd time this month.

what the hell!? i just got my car back a week ago, and there is LX Blood all over the driveway... again!

by transmission seal, i'm assuming you mean adapter plug o-rings.
there may be a tab on the adapter plug that needs to be cut off to prevent repeat occurence of the leak. if they didn't cut it off, it could be the cause. i've also had to replace the entire adapter plug assembly because the old one was warped/deformed.

Mine is currently in the shop getting the same thing repaired. Should have it back next week, at least they gave me a Charger as a service loaner.

The same thing happened when we had the seal fixed. It took them a second try to get it right, but it's held ever since.

Crazy that happened to you because, THE EXACT DAMN THING HAPPENED TO ME.
Walk out one mornin to a trany fluid puddle....crap...off to the dealer. Fixed up lickidy split. Not a week later I go out to head to work and...WFT, again????
She made it till her death on the second one

Man do I feel for you guys. Is'nt that just too damn suspicious. I am fully convinced that these seals can cause you to get water in your tranny under the right conditions.

I got my Mag back today from my dealership/DCX war. They replaced my seals, even though I did'nt ask them, hunh?????????? They replaced them even though they said I had no leak there, hunh????????? Guess I better keep an eye on mine. for awhile.

The water getting in the tranny is caused by where they put the drain for the evap core for AC and cowl drain.It would drain right on top of the dip stick,run down it and get through the seal at base.The fix is service the tranny,put new fluid,and put a shield over it to get to bleed away.
