    towing, trans temp and dashhawk

looking for feedback on the above
I will be towing my ~3000lb travel trailer to the BC rockies later this summer and wonder if my RT AWD with tow package can handle the long steep hills. Specifically i am worried about the transmission temperature. I have a dashhawk and hope the accuracy of the transtemp is enough that i do not have to worry. i can find no reference to max trans temp in either the owners manual or service manual.
    any thoughts?

Best to keep the automatic trans temp below 200 F.
    The dashhawk is accurate.
    A link to a useful chart:http://www.txchange.com/heatchrt.htm
BTW my company has redesigned & remanufactured many of the internals of the NAG1 automatic transmission so this is the voice of experience.
