the strangest thing you have found left behind from the previous owner/owners?
I replaced the cloth seats in my 300 with Katzkins last week and when pulling the bench seat from the passenger area I found a genuine Glass Eye.

Cool! In my old Mustang I found an impact socket under the intake. On this one, I found a little screwdriver under the wiring harness when I was installing the No-Esp mod. When ever I do building demolition, I always find uhundreds of cans and beerbottles in the walls.

Nothing too strange here, though a reminder to all, be sure to clear out all of your info form the Nav and Bluetooth or related systems before selling. We had the names and phone numbers to all of the previous owners friends and relatives as well as his actual address programmed into the NAV as HOME....

Under the floor my of a new 1963 Tempest I found a lifetime supply of the little dash lamps...still using them, but not on that car!
I found a fake glass eye once.
When we did some work on my Dad's '79 Ford F250 we found a bunch of screws that had been skipped when installing some of the interior trim. That's not particularly unusual I suppose, but he'd actually bought the truck new. I guess it was a Friday on the line and those guys really wanted to go home.

Hahaha... yes, my Uconnect had a ton of numbers from the previous owner stored in the memory. Not a good idea to leave behind! Especially not in your case - imagine the homelink being programmed as well... you could drive right up to his house and open the garage door with a push of a button.![]()

My Magnum has a "remove before assembly" sticker on the front bumper brace, does that count? :-P I don't think I ever really found anything cool. My current Cutlass has my buddy's Van Halen CD in it because the radio won't puke it out, and I found some really old bait in the trunk (baarf!!) but nothing much better than that.
I DRINK ROYAL PURPLE! WHAT NOW?!

My Mom's 1964 Plymouth Belvedere was wrinkled once, and when they used the torch to cut off the 1/4 panel there all of a sudden was a fire that shouldn't have been there. Turned out to be the Sunday paper from the area where the plant was, in a void that was not ever open to the world after assembly.
Found a rusted wrench stuck to a bolt under the bumper on a Honda civic once...

So here is something odd, thats a little off topic but sorta not. My wife and I name our cars. Well, my wife named her Beetle "Beverley"...well about 6 months after we had the car we were looking through the owners manual and service checklist/schedule thing...and found out the previous owner's name was Beverley. How cool and creepy is that!?
