Starting picture threads based on color

I really enjoy viewing pictures of member's rides. I can never get enough. However, these pic threads are practically impossible to find and refer to later when they're spread out all over the boards.

What do y'all think about sticky threads being created strictly for posting pictures of LX vehicles by color?

Either create specific color threads for all four boards, 300, Magnum, Charger, and SRT-8, or just create them by color in the General LX discussion board.

Also, I want to encourage as many members as possible to post pictures of their rides. Don't have to be professional photographs nor does your LX have to be modded. Just snap some shots and post them so we have a nice database to refer to.

    What do you guys think?

I have the server space and band width, if any of you want to send me photos, I'll set up sub domains and create a photo album for you. The subdomain would be something.thegriffinclan.com.

I'll create a ftp directory where you could drop your pics.

    Let me know.

magnitude I know exactly where you are coming from...I had been trying to figure out a good way to create an easily searchable database of all the rides. I get so frustrated when someone requests a photochop of a specific color car and you have to go trudging through forgotten threads looking for a usable image. I have been trying to save usable pictures to my HD whenever I think about it, but there has to be an easier way. Do any of the moderators have any tricks up their sleeves to help all pchoppers and folks who like pretty pictures out?
    MODS: Borla 112 exhaust•SRT8 suspension•Hotchkis swaybar•K&N drop-in filter•35% Tint•Auto Headlights•Chromed R/T rims•SRT grill•SXT Headlights•Daytona chin spoiler•300C interior door pulls•Custom "Monkey" leather armrest.

I've been on "other" boards that do it this way and think it's a good system. I was worried about server space too, so if this is an issue, we can take obiwan up on his generous offer to host our pics.

    DMAG, is this feasible?

I think this would be a cool idea.
I think that some of the mods people so are inspired by the color of the car.
This is sometimes true with wheels, tinting, etc.
I would imagine the black being the larger string and I would love to see what
all the other black car's are doing.
On the other hand, I could care less what is done to green car - unless you paint it black of course! - HA!

I think that would be cool to have them by color.

SoCalRT, that's a nice picture. It only needs a surf board on the roof and some dudes catching cool waves in the background. :D
