    SRT Seats - Questions

If memory serves, the SRT8 seats with the nice bolsters also came in other platforms. Which platforms I am not sure. I would like to search for seat that spsort the bolsters but do not have the SRT logo stitched into the headrests.

Seems to me I might have seen SRT-style seats with bolsters that maybe had the Chrysler logo or maybe no logo (best). Am I imagining things?

Secondly, I have read a few threads where the aftermarket Katskins did not fit well. Need comments on this as well please.

Finally(!) it might be that approachign the dealshership up here and just ordering replacement foam "and" OEM leather might be as good a path as any, it appears costs will rival hunting down donor SRT seats from the wreckers.

    As always, feedback appreciated...

I believe the Daytona's and 300 SRT Design has the similiar seats as the SRT's but without the logo. Can someone comfirm this.

Thanks, I'm warming to the idea of re-using my RT seat frames/electrics and buying the inserts/leather.

I'm interested on the fronts only, but will now hunt for R&T along with the SRT seat design while I explore foam/leather costs...

If you find some front seats from a 2006 R/T with R&T (like I traded in) you'll get exactly what you want. Nothing embroidered in them at all.

OK great, should have just asked you about it, thanks Cruisin1966.

After checking this AM, I'm getting the deer-in-the-headlights comments from the local wreckers...

Is there anyone out there who has an SRT8 or R&T with dark gray leather that would be willing to share their VIN so I can check pricing on foam and leather for the dealership?

FWIW, I did the Front and Rear Katzkins in my magnum. Front was the seat foam + leather, rear was leather swap only. My fronts fit great - the rears were more of a challenge, but after a while of use they look pretty normal I would imagine. If you were doing fronts only, I don't see why this shouldn't be an option for you, based on my own experience anyway. I've also had no wear issues over the past year, and I do put average to slightly above average mileage on the car (88k now, but not sure what it was when I installed them, probably 72ish)

This was taken when I first installed them. You can see the rear bottom seat in the picture there, all wrinkley like. It's much better now (the rear), but I did have to reinstall it and even then it took a long while for the leather to tighten up to conform to the seat better.

Performance: AirHammer, Hi-flo cats, Bassani exhaust, Predator tuned, Mopar perf springs, Hotchkis sways, BT catch can, EGR delete
Interior/Looks: Custom embroidered Katskins, custom embroidered console & cargo covers, tinted tails (Charg-um), Upper and Lower grills (NC-SXT), 'Cuda stripes, 20" Torque Thrust-M's, MoPower Shaker, MoPower Chin spoiler, PAINT!
Tunes: Pioneer F90BT, JVC Arsenal KS-AR8004D + Kenwood KAC-7204, Infinity Reference setup including 2 10" subs in custom embroidered RobbyHo enclosures

Thanks for the confirmation OLJ, someone has just suggested offline that the R&T seats are not leather, but the SRT8's are. Is this true? Not that leather is the be-all to end-all, in fact the medium gray leather in my RT looks considerably older/wrinkly than it should IMO.

R&T seats look similar to the SRT's. I actually always assumed they were the same. That is until i test drove a Daytona a month or so after putting in my SRT seats. The SRT's are by far more comfortable and offer deeper bolsters and more stability.

As I understand it from all my hunts the srt seats are leather,, the RT w/ R&T and Daytona are the Genuine Leather©®™ product.
