    SRT-8.. But Which one...

Well I posted this over at the charger forum... and i got a biased opinion...

I am really torn between the charger and 300c... It will e a srt8. no questions asked about that..

I have a 15 month old, so I was thinking 300c... but a the same time, I saw a black srt8 the other day in GLHS837's car... and my jaw just hit the fool on how badass those cars are...

    Opinions.. Thoughts...?

Either choice is a great one.

I would tend toward the Charger for its more aggresive look.

I'm all for the Charger, but that is a biased opinion since that's what I have. It depends on what you are looking for. The 300 has more options and has more "luxury" to it.
The Charger has a more aggressive appearance to it and makes itself known.
Suspension and mechanical wise, pretty much the same. Same base, different boxes on top.
You cant go wrong with either car, both support 15 month olds well.

On a side note, the Charger may get the "car bug" implanted more firmly, earlier.

Good luck, hope some of my ramblings made sense. I would also go drive both, see which feels better.

I'd go for the Charger. SRT = performance and I feel the Charger lends itself better to that (certainly image-wise) than the 300. But what a luxury problem to have... "oh which SRT8 to get?" lol

    Good luck and enjoy!

Have you considered the Grand Cherokee as an option??? It's a rocket off the line, handles really, really well for its size, give you even more room, and doesn't cost a whole lot more...

If you're sticking to the first two options, I might be inclined to say 300, since those seem to be more rare in SRT trim, at least around me.

If you're choosing between the Charger and 300, it really comes down to looks and few small features. The Charger looks just mean, the 300 more laid back and classy. I also think the 300 emphasizes the "chopped" look more than the charger, but that's just my opinion.

A few features you can get on the 300 that you can't on the Charger (well at least 06/07), memory seats, mirrors tilt down in reverse to see parking lines, rain sensing windshield wipers, and I think the new 300s have auto-sensing high beams too.

The 300 is more classy and luxurious and upscale. The charger is more agressive looking and mean. They are dropping the Magnum (I don't care for the wagon look).

but,,,,,,,,,,,, The Challenger is THE COOLEST! Order one !!!!

The 300C have a nicer interior as far as the dash goes IMO and plenty of room. I have a 5y.o. and a 3 y.o. boys and no complaints.

If the Charger and 300C are your only choices (preferences) then you have to decide whether you want looks, or comfort/headroom in the back a few years down the road.

Both will carry the baby seat just fine, but when the kid gets tall, or you want to carry full-size adults in the back then head room could be an issue in the Charger.

If you want the max head room and hauling capacity (without any gas guzzle taxes) then the MSRT8 is the ONLY option. But now you'll have to find one that's already built... I think.
Still in love with my first wife, and first car ('68 Charger)... Still have the wife!
