SPIED --> Border Patrol Charger

Hey guys I saw a Border Patrol ICE Charger this morning on I-10 as I was going to work in Tucson. It was white with green stripes and those black "police" wheels. It didn't look like a RT though.

Tonight on the way past the Brampton assembly plant, I follwed a hauler full of 9 black Chargers with blackwheels. They were all 3.5 Litre SXT's. This morning coming up Highway 410, I passed a load of 2007 Chargers in TORRED. The other morning, there were Banana Chargers, 300's and a few Magnums. Never a day goes by that I don't pass at least six or seven truck loads. Last week, one was a flat hauler with only 3 Chargers on it. None of them have the Daytona Stripes on them when they leave the factory. I understand from other posts, that these are applied elsewhere.

Banana Daytona's completed their run long ago. TORRED was the last Daytona color run but it is also now a standard 2007 charger color option. What you probably saw were SRT8 Super Bee's which started production earlier this month. They too probably get decal-ed out somewhere around Windsor like the Daytona's do.

Thanks HWDAN. I know there's hardly a day goes by that I don't see several haulers. Hard to keep track of exactly which versions of LX platforms they are. I know I get excited every time I see one!

speaking of police chargers a got to get inside A&M Corpus Christi's campus police vehicle! Talk about SWEEEET! It even had my bumper!

I got a chance to peep a NYPD Charger yesterday. It was turning onto 48th street from 8th ave, so it had to be the Midtown North precinct test car. Precinct cars get the 3.5 engine, highway cars are hemis. This car had wide spoke aluminum wheels instead of the black wheels. It was the swankest cop car I've ever seen.

We took a trip to Nogales Sonora MX a few years ago. We won't be going back. You can find want you want here in Tucson. There was no point to going there.

Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for them. I've not seen BP Chargers. On our caravan to Irvine, CA the BP sure liked our LX's at the check points. They liked them so much they bought their own. LOL.
