    Speed Traps

This is interesting. When you get the website up,

click on your state. Then the next window is a listing
of cities in that state. Click on your city to see

    where speed traps are located.

I had no idea this was available to everyone.

No joke. They are right on the money with my area.

Received this information via email, just thought I should share. To help out those lead footed folks out there...lol

In sweden we have warning signs of speed traps.

(The above sign means that within 0.6 to 25.4 km there are speedtraps along the road.)
And alot of people use GPS to navigate and most of them have in-built warnings of speed cameras (which can be updated). Its really usefull and has saved me from loosing my drivers licence a couple of times at least hehehe!

I found the information on the web site to be very interesting. I have witnessed police praying on motorists "passing through" the area to go to work or on thier way home from work. Although, most of the people that I see get stopped are guilty of speeding in the sence that they are going faster than the posted speed limit, they are not a safty hazzard. I for one have learned to drive by using landmarks to brake lightly and coast though a slower posted speed limit. Some times I find I either brake way to light or I am traveling faster than I usually would be to let my car slow down to the posted speed limit at or near the speed limit sighn. I allways expect the police to come out and tiket me for doing 5 over in a 35MPH zone. Most of the folks in this area are stopped because they are going through a 35MPH zone and are aproaching a 55MPH zone. They tend to speed up a good 800 feet before the speed limit sighn and blow by the stae or county cop on thier way out of town.
