I went to Capitol Raceway in Crofton, MD last night. The place was packed. I got there at 7:00 and was only able to get in 3 runs. There were 2 guys there from Chrysler corporate there too. They had a SRT8 Charger and a 300. Both of the SRT8's ran in the 13.40's. The air was real bad. When I got there it was 80* and 66% humidity pressure was at 30.15, calculated to a 1407 DA. My best time was 13.23 @109.15 with a 2.130 60'. As the night went on it got a little cooler but the humidity went up. On my last run it was 78* with 70% humidity, I ran a 13.3 @105.78.
The corporate guys kinda pissed me off though. I talked with them for about 1/2 hour about the cars and the new Company owners, the direction of Chrysler, etc. The lanes I was in was called up first. We had talked about running my car against the winner. I said I would wait for them and not enter the staging lanes. As I was getting to the parking area the lanes with the SRT guys were call so I waited for them to come around. I sat for 1/2 hour and missed my staging call. I drove all around the place and never found them again. If is wasn't for waiting for them I could have maybe got in 5 runs rather than 3

You think they may have been afraid to tarnish their corporate image by getting beat by a 5.7![]()

I ran a 13.521 last night on my 20" street tires. MSRT8 ran a 13.4+. On my stock 18" street tires I think I would have beat that and on the DR's I know I would have smoked it. Gear ratio of (mine w/20")2.77 vs. 3.06(MSRT8).
