Yeah... it's not like they just badged it like that to make it more "appealing" and look better... they're doing it so they can sell it to someone who aren't "in the know" which is despicable. They very well know there is no such thing as a SRT-6 ANYTHING except for the Crossfire so it's fraud to list it as an SRT vehicle.

Im the one who started this entire controversey over at "the other forums", weve been in contact with the SRT brand, etc in reference to this. We also contacted autoblog and had them run the article....on "the other forums", weve enjoyed the back and forth emails / phone calls with Liberty Dodge over the last few days!

There's been a thread going on this over on CF for a while now! Reports to Ebay and the Chrysler SRT Team have been filed, and some people have called the dealership too! For the phone calls, the dealer has been up-front, stating it's just a decal package and rims they put on...

Chrysler isn't going to stop the dealers from cosmetic marketing. At the end of the day Chrysler and the dealers have the same objective, make money buy selling cars and services.

It is the customer that I am concerned about. Seven people will buy SRT6 Chargers and not know that it isn't a real SRT. One or more will innocently end up the butt of someone's joke when they speak with pride about their SRT6. Not everyone researches their purchases the way a lot of us on these forums have.

Just hate to see someone ripped off!
