    Short spark plug wires ?

I've seen these only once (there short plug cables) and have not seen them since. I guess they reduce resistance I do not know for sure and they eliminate alot of extra wires on top of the engine.

Has anyone used them , what do you think ? Is there a benefit ?

Would anyone know the link to web page ?

I will be installing plugs in the spring (and other stuff) and maybe changing plug wires.

If you do a search in the mods face off section you will find a test on them....If I remember correctly they didn't do much for performance but they look a lot better than the mess most of us have.

There have been posts about it not being a really good idea. It uses the same coil to fire both plugs in the same cylinder rather than an opposite coil. The car's programming is not set for it, but it has no effect, it is a minor emission benefit. The problem is the coils on the newer versions are bigger because they run hotter this way. You may have lessened coil life.

Yea, some one said using these "shorties" would not hurt but probably not the best ?
I' not sure I understand the difference.

Your thought process is a little off. Each coil ALWAYS fires two plugs at the same time. Every cylinder gets two plugs fired on the compression stroke and two plugs fired on the exhaust stroke. On the 05's, each coil fires one plug on the mounted cylinder on the compression stroke and one plug on the opposite side cylinder on the exhaust stroke each time it fires.

During MOFO testing, it appears that there was a very slight power loss from switching to short wires. Many members have made the change soley for appearance.

I've had them on my 5.7 for over a year and if there is a power loss it is insignificant.
