all runs were in autostick 1 with esp off. i had moderate wheelspin off the line. and all runs were into a 10mph headwind. with good hookup and still air, i swag figure 13s easy. also it looks like the fan mod is worth over 1/10. is my swag figure close? opinions? thanx

    No SCTuner?

Those numbers look a bit better than a stock 5.7, but a couple of dyno pulls would be in order too I'm thinking. With high-flows and headers and a flashpaq I'm thinking you should be in the high 13's at closer to 100.

Without a flashpaq I'm thinking those numbers look pretty 'normal' to me.

For stock, not bad. With the FlashPaq 91 tune, KOOKS L/T headers, JBA exhaust and stock Daytona air box with "Ram Air" , on street tires, I ran low 13.50's high 13.40's at 104-105. With nitrous my best E/T has been 12.88 with a best MPH of 109. (not both at the same time though)

My car ran just about the same as yours stock.

Those aren't bad numbers from what I've seen for Stock 5.7s. I've seen a Charger R/T with drag radials and programming with a superchip come close to 13s, but if/when he gets there it's probably going to be in the 13.9s only. He finally had two runs just over 100 mph. Two other stock Chargers were running consistent 14.3s and 96-97 mpg like you did... and your Mag is heavier by a pound or two...

My stock MSRT8 (except for 180 Tstat, 25c fan mod and Air Hammer) when mid-13s and 104-107 mph.

Did you power brake or just ease into the throttle off the time? Did you lower your rear tire pressure and up the front pressures? How much time between runs? What were your engine or oil temperatures?
Still in love with my first wife, and first car ('68 Charger)... Still have the wife!

    heres what i did...

at the line i powerbroke? to about 1500rpm and planted the gas at the last yellow(asleep one time ). i got about a little less than 1/2 sec of tire squeal before hooking up & taking off. no hesitation between plant and squeal.

i didn't lower my tire pressures or do anything other than the fan mod. per the dash temp guage it was about a quarter of the way up. w/o the fan mod it was just about 1/2.(i'm going to have to read the manual to see if my evic will give that readout!!).

if i can plant and go without spinning, i s.w.a.g. i can cut at least 2/10s off my et. i don't know how much the steady 10mph headwind cost me as far as time. does anybody know how to figure that out?

    thanx
