    SCHWEEEEET new mod idea!!!

    I have no earthly idea if this can be implemented into the LX dash, but you have to look at this and see how cool it is.

    FYI the stock gauges are red background with white numerals, green LCD displays and clear needles that normally light up white. THAT is a killer mod.

    Yes, that too actually. GTO's are built with factory shift lights (holdover form the Monaro) but Pontiac does not activate them. This company activates the shiftlight/beep indicator as well as all the other goodies.

    I may just have to do this visual mod, I am amazed at the color changing needles......

    Well the concept is simple. A RGB LED that goes to red based on an rpm pickup.

    I dunno if it would even be that complicated. Since you've already got a white LED, all you have to do is put a red LED next to it under the needle, then have it go from white to red using a variable resistance circuit that tracks needle position.

    Or you can just hook up a phlux capasitor!!!
