    Angry Scammed by one of the supporting vendors on Ebay!

    Ok - since I don't know what the rules are about publicly bashing a supporting vendor - I'll refrain from naming names. I paid for an item from one of our vendors using the buy it now option - through his personal ebay sale, not the business, and have been getting the run around now for 3 1/2 weeks! I'm out $250 now, but would still like to give him the benefit of the doubt - as I know he's been quite busy lately, before I open a PayPal claim against him.
    So what are the rules? If I don't get a resolution, will I be banned if I name names?

    Your money is your money... You cant allow yourself to get beat because they're a supporting vendor... did you call them...

    Well I had a problem with a vendor here as well. I tried everything I could do to resolve the issue privately. I finally had to post my issue in their section, that got a response and I didn't get banned. So what ever I guess.
    From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.





    The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

    I received a couple of "You'll get a tracking number tomorrow" emails, after my questions - but to no avail. Never got the tracking numbers. Tried calling, and got the ol' voice mailbox is full.

    The sad part is, this is a vendor I was about to place a fairly large order with - but since this incident, my $3k plus, went to several other vendors that stepped up for me! I don't think he realized who I was when I bought the part on Ebay.

    I'm truly hoping he reads this, and resolves it - because I still think he's probably a good guy, that just got too busy too fast.

    well since it was his personal account on ebay and not from the business.... I would say contact paypal and stop payment on it...

    business issues are different than personal sales...

    I am sure if this guy is real busy he will get your issues resolved...if you think he is a good guy then I bet he is.

    I don't think you would be in any sort of troulbe as long as you kept it civil and honest. Where people start to run into risk is when they start bashing and slandering people...

    Outing them will give them a chance to speak their side and explain why it is taking so long.. I imagine it is just a matter of them being incredibly busy and not getting a chance to send your order.

    Its a fortunate, and unfortunate thing that SEMA is coming up soon. LOTS of stress is put on auto vendors to get the best foot forward... which is great for publicity and sponsorship money, but it does take a toll on customer service for a LOT of smaller operations...

    Its sorta a consequence of getting stuff done in the fall I s'ppose...

    I still believe it's due to his busy schedule - but the part I was waiting for is scheduled to be installed on my car next week, and I'm kinda screwed if I don't get it by then (I'm travelling 3 1/2 hours for the install, along with some other "items"). The only reason I let it go this long, is because I do know that everyone that's dealt with him has nothing but the best to say about him - and I trust those opinions. If my issue here gets resolved, I would even still consider doing business with him - although with the knowledge that I may have to wait a bit to get the goods.

    Have you called and talked to them??

    I would call and give them 24 hours to provide tracking numbers or a refund.

    If nothing then go paypal dispute. You are limited on the number of days after the transaction for your dispute to be initiated.
