satellite radio trouble

Well I called to have my sat radio turned back on after two tries it did not pick up the signal they said I have to take it in and have that module flashed?? Is there another way.

When I had mine turned on, it didn't take at first either. In order to get it to program, you need to reboot the radio. Turn off the ignition and open the door. Then close it, let the car sit for 5 minutes, and then try programming it again. You should be able to send the signal yourself from your Siriusxm account page. If that doesn't work, make sure you are receiving a signal. Even if you don't have a subscription, you should be receiving the promo channel (184?). If you're not receiving anything, you're going to have to take it in to see what's wrong.
