Remote Start Problem - Look At These Wires

For a while, my remote start system (dealer installed Mopar unit) wasn't working correctly. After remote starting, the brake pedal did nothing. I was told the wire to the brake pedal was probably loose.

I finally had a chance to look underneath, and I found a wire that is obviously disconnected. Look at the wires below. Should they be connected?

doesn't look like there's anything there where it says "connect to this." wire should run from the remote start brain to the negative side of the brake pedal switch. Wire is green w/ some kind of tracer.

I believe its a green wire with white tracer (same as the one shown). Its in the brake switch (big white plastic block at top right of photo). You will likely find a blue crimp-on connector up there where your dangling wire should plug in to.

The lower wire is aqua (maybe green) with a white tracer. There were arrows in my picture in Photoshop, but they seem to have disappeared.

The upper wire has the grey L or T shaped end.

    This is the Mopar unit.

the grey connector is not part of the mopar remote start kit so it definitely doesn't go there.
that green/white wire should go from the remote start module harness to the green/white wire in cavity 5 of the 6 way stop lamp switch connector. there are 2 green/white wires in this connector so make sure it's on the correct circuit. since they installed a crimped blade connector, i'd be looking for a female match to that connector.

There should be a female "vampire" type connector that the insulated spade mates with.

    And yes...FNG here!

Well, this dealership went out of business. One time I had to take my old truck there, and I had to wait to have the work done because the only good mechanic they had was on vacation. Plus, he was only at that location part time.

Does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions?
