    received my starscan today

Just wondering if any of you guys could point me in the right direction as to how to use this beast. Mainly, are there any cool tricks. Otherwise, I just received my HHP TCM, I want to try the TCM TSB first....how do I download that, and then, if I don't like it, how do I install the HHP TCM?

What do you want to do with it?

One thing is log on to techauthority, cough up $20 and get all the latest flashes for your car. If you bought it new... Otherwise you might need some updates.

In the meantime, just hook it up and start poking around. You can also read some of the information at www.dcctools.com Go to the download center. (Yes, I have a StarMobile.)

Yes it is, but that's not what the LX looks like on it...

The StarMobile does all the same things, but has data logging capabilities and needs a laptop to emulate all the things the StarScan does.

The funny thing is, the Autoenginuity tool will do things the StarScan/StarMobile, won't... But it won't program anything.

Wow! It is not what I pictured it to be, I thought it would be some big machine that rolled around on wheels....LOL.

Never thought it would be that small.

    Good job.

I have B&G flash, I'm worried I may change something in the PCM...Is this something I need to worry about or are there safe guards I can depend on.

    DON'T update the ECM firmware.

Anything else will play nice with a B&G.
