Is this something they are swapping out free? If not, it should be!

I want to know how to get my unit replaced under warranty as well. How did you go about doing this? Please enlighten us. Where is the Aux Input located on your new 06 unit?

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Having sound group II was not a requirement. For 06 all radios were supposed to have an aux jack. Even the base disk player.

What about a part number for all us '05 guys? I'm itching for this.

Any '06 that aren't interested in aux, I'll pay cash and swap my 6-disc with you.

Good information. Thanks 65Standard. It was published from DCX that the 06' Model would have the AUX input. Shame you have to go through all this just to get the features on the car that DCX said you would get, whether it was on the sticker or not, it was supposed to be an 06' feature. Looks like they'll try to make it hard and get out of it.

Hey fellas, please pardon my ignorance, but what will I be miising out on by not having this aux input? Strictly to plug in an IPOD? What would you use this aux input for?

Delphi Roady 2 (XM Radio), CD/MP3 players, portable DVD players, anything that has line level outputs. FM modulaters don't sound as good. If you don't have a casette player you can't use the casette adapter. Aux in is the bomb dude.
